Plantar Fasciitis

Plantar fasciitis occurs when the connective tissue that connects the heel to the toes becomes inflamed. This arch supportive tissue can become overworked and eventually painful. Poor foot biomechanics such as overpronation or underpronation of one or both feet can predispose one to plantar fasciitis as well as other joint injuries. Joint manipulation, soft tissue therapy and orthotics have been shown to drastically improve patient’s symptoms.
